In the program, choose "Graph"->"Insert filter":
1. Video Capture
2. DirectShow Filter->Image Effect
3. DirectShow Filter->Video Renderer
Connect these 3 module in the above sequence, by mouse drag & drop.
In the "Image Effect" properties, choose XOR effect, and correct the
Timing
Start 0, Length 100000(large enough to watch your TV program)
Beware that "Image effect" only accept RGB 24-bit. If the "Video
Capture"
feeds other format to "Image Effect", the conversion will be cpu-consuming.
Finally, press the "Play" button on the toolbar.
When the resolution is 384x288, it's 24 frames/sec. When 768x576
(PAL
size), only 14 frames/sec. So, I always watch at 384x288.
If using 384x288, then maximize the window, the speed is also very slow.
This is because the "Video Renderer" is using 24-bit colors.
My colleague
teach me that, before using the graphedt.exe to make the "filter
connection", change the display to 256 colors, then use graphedt.exe.
The
"Video Renderer" will use 256 colors, instead of 24-bit. Using
384x288,
even maximize the window, the speed will be very fast, 24 frames/sec.
After
saved the "filter connection" using graphedt.exe, change back the display
to
24-bit colors.
I can watch YMC, Sports, ESPN, Movie 1 & 2, HBO, Entertainment,
Channel 18
with sound.
But when I watch News 1, News 2, BBC, CNN, JETV, there is no sound.
